ESPN will present SportsCenter Special: NFL Face to Face with Hannah Storm (Monday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2) - JJ Watt, Russell Wilson, Clay Matthews, & Vernon Davis <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Th7oNRjYcY4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Hannah Storm is ageless. And there's some great insight, even in this teaser. (Unless this clip was the whole thing lol)
Boy, how things have changed from the day he was drafted. I remember not feeling excited nor disappointed. I just didn't know what to expect but the boos certainly were heard loud on TV. This is why I don't bother judging picks anymore. Between Watt and the fact Mario pick was better than VY I have decided to see them play before I boo them. Heck, even Kareem Jackson has become decent. Not every pick is David Carr bad.
Anyone have any idea how popular Watt is outside of Texans fans? It's hard to gauge that living in Houston.
I remember on draft day wondering who he was, then when I saw how excited Wade Phillips was to get him, I relaxed and trusted. InWadeWeTrust
shes doing a doc on sharyl swoopes right now too.. not everyone boo'ed watt.. not everyone thinks they could run an nfl team better than rick smith. just keep watt away from the 2011 clutchfans nfl draft thread..
A lot of football fans that I've come across online and in person think he's a top 10 player in the NFL. Pretty crazy for someone who has played only two seasons and not at a QB, WR, or RB spot.
I just set my DVR to record the next showing (this AT&T app for my phone is pretty cool). It shows it will air again on August 24 at 6:30am on ESPN 2
My gfs dad in Washington st loves him. He's a Seahawks fan. Watt might be the most marketable athlete we've had in Houston that I can think of aside from after Yao learned English.
Honestly, probably not all that popular. Watt's a low key, but really chill and charitable dude. Winning DPOY in the NFL will get some eyeballs on you though, that's for sure.
Low-key players still become popular, if they play great, just look at Rose. Not sure i'd call Watt low-key though, he's not controversial, but definitely gets out there. He's probably more like Durant. Olajuwon-like, would be low-key, IMO.
