Landry and Brooks are two of our most tradeable assets. Who else would we trade?

While you have to give up value for value, I don't like to give up a young and somewhat proven Landry for an unknown. Who are we after? I have lost track of the draft lately.

If the pick is in the teens I say we get Earl Clark.

If it's in the top ten I'd go for Stephen Curry > Tyreke Evans either or would be great.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I wonder who Morey is after outside the top 5 players. I doubt they could get a top 5 five pick for Landry so there must be a diamond in the rough that Morey is really after.

This is interesting considering Landry cannot be traded without his consent until mid September. Landry signed an offer sheet with Charlotte last September so until after a year has passed from that date, he cannot be traded to Charlotte and cannot be traded anywhere else without his consent.

Ive always had injury concerns for Landry. Although, other than the gun shot, he was pretty healthy all year, he only plays about 20 minutes a game. Im not so sure he could handle a 30-35 minute per game over the length of an entire season. I love his game and his hustle, but I dont see him being more than a bench player for us. If Morey can get a stud that he has his eye on, then I would be for it.

Wow   . Something must be happening with Dorsey if they are even thinking about this. Landry being traded??? I doubt it. I don't want to buy into this too much. It is the offseason. The draft is thursday so there are going to be lots of rumors. I'll believe it once it happens.

If we can not get the second draft pick through trading Landry, I would say "Nooooooo!!"

i am sure he would waive that clause if presented the opportunity of landing a starting position for the first time in his career.

Jrue Holiday got lit up by Stephen Curry in a Knicks workout, so much so that Holiday got visibly frustrated.

Blazers want the Wizards pick badly.

and this is the blurb about the Rox:

Damn it usually takes rookies time to adapt to the NBA. I'd rather have Landry who knows how to play in the NBA and his role on the team.

what I'm getting at is the Rockets, must have talked to Landry and his agent and Landry is aware of the possibility and is fine with it otherwise you run the risk of him turning down the trade and being unhappy here.

he's not THAT valuable, most of what he does is through hustle and activity rather than skill. They must feel like Dorsey can give them something very similar and scola is still in front of Landry, so he's the best trade bait we have....and this draft isn't crappy, there's alot of solid players, few home runs, but still alot of solid players who could still turn out to be home runs..
