Some scathing comments here from Mr. Denberg, who, God save us, lumps the Bulls together with the Rockets as ex-champs now "accepting scraps from the underage lottery pool."

Thought I'd feed the BBS "we don't get no respect" fire...

Well the guy immediately looses credti by saying the last draft pick to turn a franchise around before Tim Duncan was David Robinson. I guess he's forgetting about Shaquille Oneal. How about Allen Iverson? Does this guy even follow basketball?

Haha.. you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is: Never get involved in a land war in Asia. Only slightly less well know is this: Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

I just read it. Ultra-stupid ignorant article, especially on the free agents.

What a moron? You can't put Rockets with the same level as the Bulls, with tough western conference team and with all the injuries we had we still manage to have a record of 45-37.

The article is just wrong in so many ways, where does one begin? The answer is that one simply cannot respond with an argument other than a simple shake of the head...

What a hater...I was also watching NBA 2 Night on Espn2 last night at 1am in Austin...and I heard them take a few licks at the Rockets also and they very assuringly said that HAKEEM will end up in Miami next year.

I think the Espn has a contract with the NBA, which allows both of them to jointly hate on the Rockets.

Maurice Taylor doesn't rebound and isn't eager to return.

I can tell you for a fact that the second half of that statement is false. Mo loves it in Houston and being on this team. Denberg doesn't know what he is talking about.

    And then, depression set in...

Dude, KALIKULI's all over this. We talked about that last night at the game-- the Rockets have a hell of a lot better idea for how to rebuild than the goddamned Bulls do.

Isn't this the third year in a row their victory total's been in the teens? That is PATHETIC. Compare that to Houston, which (as was pointed out) won 45 games, sniffed the playoffs, and has potentially three first-round draft picks to go along with a ton of cap room.

How are the two franchises supposed to be even remotely comparable?

    ------------------
BK: "Hey coach, great season. Thanks!"

Rudy: "Thanks guys, appreciate the support."

    This really happened.

Thank you Jeff I was going to say the same thing.

What does he mean that we're forced to resign Dream. Does he not get it? WE WANT DREAM BACK!!!

This guy has no idea what he's talking about, when saying we have no guarantees. He should be speaking for the rest of the west. Mike O'Brian from The Fifth Quarter on 950 am made a good point about the powers from the west falling.

    1. jazz are going down slowly, but surely
    2. Kings may lose Webber and if they do go ahead and say goodbye to their playoff hopes.
    3. If the lakers don't win it all they will trade kobe and who knows how long they will do good.
    4. the blazers are on their way to an ultimate implosion.
    5. Who knows about the rest of the first round knockoffs.

We also have good shooters unlike a lot of teams that rely on their stars so yes we can beat the zone. Also we're one of the younger teams in the league so I'm not too worried about fast breaks.

I can't wait for this guy to put his foot in his mouth next season!

"there goes the caproom..." Huh ? We're gonna get a FA before we sign Hakeem. Besides, does Denberg expect us to give Hakeem 16 million ? Why doesn't he do any research ?

    Oh my goodness.

What a stupid b*stard. All of his claims are false. The two comments that make me really made are the Dream/capspace one, and definitely the Mo Taylor one. That mf b_tch just flat-out lied!

The Rockets need to get some good product on the floor for the fans to aprreciate. A lot of weak areas on team. I'm just waiting to see what Rudy & Co. will do this offseason. Forget this loyalty crap, this is business. Match talent with talent if you want to compete for championship. Only the best possible players will do.

Call me stupid, but what happens if dream leaves, Shandon leaves, we miss out on Webber and in the mess of trying to get Webber we lose Mo too???????
