I was going to post this then thought whats the point... its ESPN. Goes to show how much research people like Legler put into these articles. We have a 15-6 record without T-Mac yet somehow we won't make it because he is out? Explain to me how he gets that considering the Suns have no Amare for a while and we have just been plain better than Dallas?

Tim Legler has probably never even watched a game.

Especially when T-mac was out for the game.
Yeah, many times we say that we need a healthy T-mac,but I cant remeber when was the last game that T-mac played was in his 100%healthy.
This season,we are 15-6without him,but many people still think we cant even get into the playoffs without him. What's the problem with those guys?

I think it's hilarious that Legler says this, and then right next to that junk is Hollinger talking about how Portland and Houston are pulling away from the bottom of the Western playoff race.

Legler picked the Rockets to win it all early in the season, and he was labeled one of the better analysts on the board. Now he's saying we'll come up short after losing TMac and trading Rafer, and all of a sudden he's an idiot.

Agree - ESPN is very lame to that - basically contradicting themselves on the same webpage. Legler's analysis lacks insight and shows that he has NOT done his homework.

Not surprising if you don't look too deeply into the Rockets' situation.

Superficially, they just lost their top player and starting point guard. And if you don't factor in his injury and the effect of playing with McGrady, it's true that Artest's shooting % is lower than in previous seasons.

But none of that matters. All the Rockets can do is prove it on the court.

    great. I love this.

Love being underrated and under the radar.

The question is...can we keep LaMarcus under check?

He's not the only one, Rick Kamla of NBA TV said Houston may not make the playoffs because we traded Rafer and lost Mcgrady. Logic dictates that if you lose two starters that took you to the playoffs before, you may not make the playoffs without them.

he basically based his whole thing on the fact that tmac is shutting it down for the season. he doesn't even know what's going to happen to tmac.

it's ridiculous, those so called experts still think tmac means so much to the rockets, and we are in "big trouble" losing him, go watch a rocket game before writing bullshiit articles.
go rockets, prove these r****ds wrong!

When will these guys realize tmac is a cancer and we're not just miraculously playing better defence now with him gone. He says Ron is struggling with his shot. Yes...when tmac is playing, but hes shooting lights out when hes on the floor with Yao. We're a better team than that Yao/Tmac team that lost in 7 to the Mavs, I guarentee it. Playing 1v5 basketball with 4 guys standing around was NOT good basketball. Yes, it gave you good numbers, but thats not how you win a 7 game series.
