Good call. For Indy it would be like a poor-man's Tmac. The consolation prize of losing out. Although the Raports want a star in return. Indy can't bring that with what they are offering. Indy might have to work a 3 way deal. If I were them I would try to see if Iverson is available to be moved in a deal to Toronto. Toronto is a struggling franchise. If Carter leaves and they dont have a star to replace him there they could be in trouble of the franchise picking up and moving to the states.
Carter is under contract until 07/08. I don't think he'll get traded. It would be a big screw job for the last Canadian team.
i agree with xiki...carter for artest and harrington or something of the like. mix their stingy D with some good O.
I don't really blame Carter. They drafted the second coming of Michael Bradley, except it was even more of a reach this time.
YES!!!!!!!!! the guy is a little chump....who has no clue what being a "man" is...he limps around like he's been shot every time he gets a bubu. this way we get rid of Jalen Rose as well.....hopefully.
New York Need a super star like Vincanity. But they do not have financial wiggy room. We have $6.9M trade exception to work with. Maybe we can work a 3-team trade that will land us Kurt Thomas and NY Vince Carter. I am not so sure if Toronto will want anything NY can offer .... maybe Starbury. Oh well, Toronto will not be too hard pressed to ship out Carter since he is still rigidly under contract for at least 2 more seasons without an option of leaving.
