I'm not sure if anybody's posted the link, but the topic of the link has been posted in about 2 other threads.

That's ok Moe, we still think you're alright.

"Yes, the Rockets would be a playoff entry in the East, but not a lock. Currently their record places them No. 6, but only a half game ahead of Orlando and one game up on Toronto."

Apparently these geniuses don't realize that if you're in the East, you play more Eastern teams. Do they think the Rockets would be 21-4 against the West and 13-24 against the East if they were in the East?

    The Freak,

I saw that too. That whole article had an underlying tone of despise towards the rockets. Even the title seems somewhat sarcastic. It pisses me off that these "experts" don't realize that the rockets play twice as many games against the west than the east and vice versa for the east, as the freak pointed out. They try to make it seem like it would make little difference if the rockets were in the east, and they went as far to say that the rockets wouldnt be a lock for the playoffs in the east.

If we played in the East Cato would be considered an elite Center...

i dont know. i didnt think it was sarcastic. i thought they gave us some respect they usually dont. i didnt like what they said about what would happen if we played in the east. saying it would be no different. but this whole thing is certainly a step up from their previous comments.

Has anyone noticed a supreme lack of intelligence from the ESPN beat riders lately? Is the economy so bad that you have to create a sweatshop of blind feral kittens to do your sports writing???

The other day they had written in the pregame that the Clippers and Rockets had split their first two games. Before that, Steve Francis was a blazer. I constantly see crap from Dr. Jack that makes no sense w/ salary cap rules or is just plain stupid. He even wrote just Wed. that the Suns are a lock for the playoffs. After tonight's loss, a Rockets win tomorrow against GSW allows the Rockets to go to Phoenix and cut the Suns' lead for 8th spot to one game (two losses).

He is very capable. He just has to exert some sort of effort.
