ESPN: Carter/Gortat for Jrich/Hedo

From a fantasy perspective, I have Carter and JRich on the same team.

JRich was having an amazing year...

I don't know if this is bad for my team or if its good.

It makes sense for the Magic though.

 

Also Arenas for Lewis straight up.

how so? Maybe because they have to give up Gortat, but they get rid of Carter and Lewis.

 

I like the attempt by the Magic, whether it works or not..

Even though they should have tried harder for Melo

 

gave up defense for offense, that almost never works.

 

I could totally see Nash going back to Dallas for Butler (expiring) or Kidd (less money)+picks+cash.

 

man if this goes down there gonna be stacked. wow. excellent trades.

 

And picked up Arenas and Hedo while being left with no legit backup big, if this doesn't work they can waive good bye to DHoward because they have ZERO flexibility.

JRich was a nice addition though, he will help.

Nelson/Arenas
Arenas/JRich
Hedo/JRich
Bass/Hedo
Howard


...I could see either Arenas or JRich coming off the bench as a 6th man getting heavy minutes.

 

Lewis and Carter were hardly defensive guys. Heck they were pretty horrible.

 

Great trade for the Suns. They basically dump Hedo's contract for Gortat and Pietrus. J-Rich is expiring.

 

Well as a person who semi -follows the Magic , i will hold my thoughts on this trade until everything sorts itself out.

 

the key was they kept jameer...not bad, but i'm surprised they blew it up so much...didn't expect so much movement.

 

Terrible rush to judgement. The Magic will seriously be better after this
