The article has more to do with the Blazers woes, but it did have this juicy tid-bit:

    Might be nice.

Imagine, though, his shooting form and Kevin's form.

Together, that is some ugly stuff. At least Kevin is a great shooter...the form is...meh.

 How can this be? The legendary JCDenton said no player would willingly come to Houston because of the way Tracy was supposedly treated.

In all seriousness Camby would be a great pick up to reinforce the center position behind Yao.

I think he would never go for the Vet min. Honestly, I would be all for a strong push to get Camby THIS offseason.

Well, we can trade Hayes away in that case. Camby's shooting form is better than Hayes.

A cheap backup. Basically if he takes over Mutombo's role, pay and everything.

i didnt realize camby lived here in the offseason? Is this his permanent home, or does he just have a place to hang out in during the summer?

considering camby threw a fit when he was traded from denver and then again when trade from LA, he seems like the kind of guy who doesnt like change. That may be in our favor this summer.

I thought about this already, I think he'd be a good MLE type signing if he was willing to take that kind of money to play here. Good to hear he's amenable to the idea.

    nevermind, found the answer:

    http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_5298436

He getting ready to sell his house in New York and move to his spread in Houston during the offseason. An avid fisherman and car collector, Camby's place in Houston has a lake and a big garage for his cars, which he's scaled back from 15 to " 8 or 9."

"Just recently we got a lake with our house in Houston. It's a 10-acre lake and it came with the property that we bought. We got the lake and got it (filled) with fish. "

"My wife is from there. & It went hand in hand because basically that's where all the NBA players are at (in the offseason). All of them live down in Houston. We have probably the best (pickup games) down there during the summertime."

Rashard Lewis said the same thing during the finals last year. But that nasty contract won't allow him here haha

Offer Camby the LLE ($2.08M for next season, $2.2464M in 2011-12). He's worth it.

Not sure how much of a permanent home it is, but it's in Pearland. Almost walking distance from my apartment complex. It's a huge house on a small plot of land, not part of a neighborhood or anything. He just recently finished some pretty major renovations I think, because there were all kinds of crews there working on it for a while.

I don't know that we'll be able to afford a full MLE on him with the luxury tax implications, but maybe he'll take $2-4 million on a short term deal?
