Broussard had an article today about what the Hornets could do with Peja and his expiring contract. Link

    Here is the Houston tidbit:
Houston will not continue losing so this isn't even a valid point, but who could the Rockets go for if we do fall out of the playoff race? Jason Smith looks like an interesting 7 foot prospect, seeing how he lit us up with his outside shot last week.

No prospect from NO is interesting unless it is Chris Paul.

This is what the Rockets needed. We have regained our coveted underdog mantle! Time to hoop.

Why not, if the "young talent" referenced is named Chris Paul, I am all over it.

broussard is an idiot. A cheap shot to the Rockets really assuming that our season is lost already. You thought Martins D was bad. Peja is something else..

Sniffing CP3's jock must really have cooked Broussard's brain cells. I'd consider trading Kevin Martin if it brought back actual needed talent. And NOT to New Orleans. Why help them out (dramatic pause) any more than we already have?

I think any help they got from Flyin Ryan Bowen was cancelled out in the Trevor "poison" Ariza deal.

I'll play Devil's Advocate, Broussard said if the Rockets keep losing so I assume he means if we are lottery bound. Why wouldn't we want to trade a longer term deal for a huge expiring contract and lets say Marcus Thornton? If we are going to the lottery, then the Martin experiment wouldn't have worked and Thornton would be a young prospect to look it at for the SG position.

I'm not saying do it tomorrow or that I'd do it at all but it's not as crazy as you think IF we are lottery bound.

Morey doesn't do drugs so this trade has no chance of happening.

Broussard loves to hate on the Rockets, so it's not surprising that he simply sees us as a victim for stupid trades... despite the fact that all the trades we've made in the last few years have been relative thieveries.
