Yeah what Nook said. Most teams do something fishy when it comes to NCAA, it's just a matter of getting caught

Hard to take this report seriously when literally every player has come out and said they've been misquoted and the reports aren't true. Not to mention the police officer also has come out said he has been misquoted.

Throw in the fact that this Selena Roberts has been widely criticized for her reporting on things like the Duke Lacrosse scandal and the Alex Rodriguez steroid scandal, I'll wait and see some evidence before taking these claims too seriously.

They need to levy punishments on the entire SEC, real talk. Punishing one school won't do a thing to prevent future infractions. Every time a team gets caught, punish the entire conference, that'll clean it up in no time.

The SEC big shots will have their own police to make sure none of this happens anymore as it would cost them billions.

    Once again...

I'm not sure how you can call it "great reporting" when just about everybody she interviewed/talked/reported on have either said they were misquoted/taken out of context or have flat out denied the reports altogether.

Not to mention she's already said that "the whole thing was a misunderstanding", yet she still ran her story...

Usually good reporters actually understand every aspect of their stories before running them online...

Why would you turn down a shot at the NFL for $400?

    This doesn't make sense.

Yup. So silly that people want to take joy in a school like Auburn getting "caught" when every major D-I school has these issues.

Are people that naive to think that the majority of these kids are actually good students?!

Maybe. I remember reading about SMU getting the death penalty partly because they got their fifth probation, some of the same articles mentioned Auburn and possibly A&M as having four at the time. All those schools have the same profile in that they were number two programs in states with an above average loyalty to football or the university programs themselves; and either a very small or compliant media (at least until the very end with SMU).

Some of the bubble guys who aren't high profile enough to get full appraisals in the press, and obviously aren't allowed to talk to agents or team officials (who sometimes refuse to talk about prospects nowadays).
