People keep asking in the game thread, so posting report here.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4698979

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Houston forward Luis Scola left the Rockets' game at Oklahoma City after being poked in the right eye.

Scola appeared to be bleeding after Oklahoma City's Etan Thomas poked him in the eye with his left hand while dunking with his right hand on the Thunder's opening possession of the game Sunday night.

A trainer came out to assist Scola, and the Argentine player walked to the locker room with a towel covering his face just 22 seconds into the game.

Scola had seven stitches on his eyelid but a team spokesman says his vision was not affected. Scola was not expected to return.

Scola had started all 16 games and was averaging 15.3 points for the Rockets, who are already without All-Stars Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming.

Thank goodness it didn't damage his eye. Injuries like that could be season-ending... (Amare Stoudamire)

I thought Etan Thomas fouled on that play. He will spend a game on ice either for that or the wild elbow he threw at AB.

That attempted elbow to AB should be reviewed by the NBA, that should have been a tech on Etan.

it doesn't make sense on etan's dunk.
etan dunked with a right hand while scola was on his right
and scola get poked by him with his left hand.

that should be a push off offensive foul.

I was wondering where Scola was because when I tuned in, didn't see his traces anywhere.

Hope it ain't gonna affect his game and please get well soon. Plus, without Scola , we also handed the Thunder a loss with effort and heart, props to our guys.

This is why I'd rather see T-Mac play and get banged up...That's back-to-back losses to Mavs and Spurs plus Scola gettin stiches in a win in Oklahoma...What's next? or should I say who's next?

Don't count on it. I don't think Adelman is the type of coach that will put a player in who hasn't practiced enough with the team. He'd probably do what he did tonight.

I noticed that this game isn't included in Scola's official stats on Clutchfans. He played at the tip right (didn't set to see the game)? So unfortunately, his numbers should be taking a big hit?

The next OKC game is December 19th at the Toyota center. The Rockets should recall Dorsey to send a message to Etan Thomas, "Not in our house!".

Scola is a warrior. He will be back soon. Here's hoping for the best for Mr. Scola.
