Man if this guy joins the Rox for minimum. I'd take him because his defensive efforts are just awesome although getting owned by Yao everytime. Although no offensive game but he is still young compared to Deke, can pull down 6 or 7 rebounds per game and knows how to block shots. He can surely take some weight off Yao's shoulders

    Here is the article

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dailydime-061111-12

The Warriors, according to NBA front-office sources, are trying to buy out the contract of center Adonal Foyle, who played just six minutes in Golden State's first six games under Nelson and clearly has no role in Oakland given Nellie's preference for smaller lineups.

This is the first of four seasons left on Foyle's, uh, burdensome contract, with the 31-year-old due $37.4 million in that span ... but only $1 million of Foyle's $10.6 million salary in 2009-10 is guaranteed to make the actual value just under $28 million.

Personnel chief Chris Mullin has taken more shots for Foyle's original six-year, $51 million deal than any other move he's made -- and justifiably so -- but the Warriors insisted at the time that serious interest from Orlando and Milwaukee drove Foyle's price up.

Foyle is a nice guy and all, but what does he bring that we don't have with Mutombo already?

Mullin totally panicked when he realized Dampier was leaving no matter what. Everybody, and I mean everybody, that commented after they gave Foyle the contract blasted Mullin hard. That ranks up there with the dumbest signings all-time in the NBA. To this day, I've never heard Mullin offer a logical defense other than saying he had to match other teams. He could offer no justification based on Foyle's skillset or abilities.

The Warriors will have a tough time turning it around with Mullin as GM. If they are lucky, Nellie will run him off or he will become just a figurehead to execute what Nellie decides.

He is the longest playing career without playing in NBA. That alone should make him worth only peanuts. Yeah I will take him at that price.

At sub-$2 million, Foyle's worth it. 15 mpg in a halfcourt system, he'd be effective. Mutombo's on fumes at this point, his offense is gone and his rebounding is suffering. We've got zero options at center if Yao or Deke gets hurt. Foyle could back up both PF and C if we face big matchups or Yao gets into foul trouble.

We're in deep trouble if 6-9 Juwan, 6-10 Novak, or 6-9 Padgett have to man the post.

At least give him credit on that video for attempting to block Amare's shot back before the injuries. It is more than I would have done when I saw Amare coming.

At the Very least hes a capable rebounder and shotblocker, althought Mutumbo allready provides enough of that it still wouldnt hurt to have an insurance player considering Mutumbos age. Definately the best bigman on the market right now
