Why would Minnesota take Hasheem Thabeet? That would mean they should of just kept O.J. Mayo instead of trading him for Love.

This draft seems to be one that is a bit below average. The 2008 draft will go down as one of the top 5 in the last thirty years...

Blake Griffin is the only stud in the draft and in other years he would not be the top pick, or he would have came out last year as a freshmen with all the other freshmen phenoms. Curry is not going to be great, but could be a legit player if he can put some size on hiz 6-3 frame. There is a couple of raw talents that could end up being great players: Derozen , Rubio, Thabeet.

Nothing to get all that excited about...

Any of these five players could be special

Arizona has two potential lottery picks in Chase Budinger (who has gained 15 lbs of muscle since last year) and Jordan Hill (probably the most underrated big man in the country).

    Wooo!!

LOL at the mavs being lumped with the Grizzlies, Thunder and other sad-sack teams. How the mighty have fallen. Serves them right for that Finley out of bounds steal. Karmic Justice baby :D

I swear I have heard numerous times that he was lucky to be 6 feet. I hate how a player's height gets changed so much. What's so hard about making them stand next to a measuring tape and getting their exact height.

Yeah, just make it a standard to A. measure with no shoes and list it on the scouting reports and B. measure with shoes they normally wear, and also list that on the scouting report.

He sure looks approx 6'0" to me out of all the times I've watched him on TV.. but obviously that's not an accurate measure either

Well i know that but it would be even worse if they took Thabeet which I doubt they would do.

So if I have this correct, Minnesota in the last 3 years has traded the draft rights of Brandon Roy and O.J. Mayo?
