it is great to see rox gets more recognition than jazz and lakers. they are having a big season too.
anyway it will be a big challenge to JVG, how to use yao in a correct way? i don't think the plan at the beginning of the season was good.

 

So, who's a bigger jerk and idiot: Charlie Rosen or Skip Bayless? May be a tie now that I think of it. No need to limit the world-class loser awards to just one.

 

Skip is paid to be an arrogant moron and "go against the grain" for the sake of attention-whoring. I doubt he even believes half the &*%$ he spews.

If he does, he is quite possibly the stupidest person with the priviledge of expressing his opinions on national television.

Come on guys...how much would we be talking about 1st and 10/Skip if they agreed w/ each other on every topic? They need to contradict each other because it's interesting t.v.

Skip is insane, they guy straight up hates Yao Ming, suggesting Deke should play more than Yao and the Rockets are better without Yao.

I had a chance to see Yao play live a game or 2 before he was injured, it was against the Spurs in SA and I have never seen anyone dominate like that in any sport games that I have watched live (besides Vince Young but he is Superman). Yao scored the Rockets first 14 points by himself, nobody could stop him not Ellis, not Duncan. When we get him back Skip Bayless needs to wear a Yao Ming Jersey for a week on Cold Pizza and 1st and 10.

 

I'd watch it if I was around b/c they're talking about sports. I'd rather hear people's intelligent thoughts, even if most of them agree with each other, than the BS Skip spews.

Skip is different from the hate people give to StephenA, Bill Walton, etc.. I really think Skip believes the stuff he says. I think Walton says his stuff to get laughs, and I can find humor in it. I think StephenA is loud and obnoxious, but he still has decent (original) thoughts.

And I'd rather hear the intelligent thougths as long as they brought something different to the table...and didn't regurgitate the other person or what anyone else could have already read on espn.com

 

I appreciate the respect of us being a top 5 team, but anyone who thinks we're better without Yao isn't very knowledgeable about basketball.

Its funny listening to Barkley on TNT hating on the Rockets every week. Last week he said the top teams in the West were Phx,Dallas,SA, Utah,Denver, and LA. Guess they would have to go 82-0 to get props from him.

Skip Bayless is pretty damn stupid when it comes to any sport. He consistently says the craziest sh*t on that segment of the show, and everyone they put up there to debate against him are always flabbergasted by what he says.

 

Exactly! I was hoping to GOD that wasn't just me that felt Bayless is maybe the dumbest mainstream sports journalist working today.

 

1st and 10 is much better without Bayless. He demands the ball too much.
