Turkish Star Prospect to Enter Draft

NBADraft.net learned today, from sources close to the situation, that Turkish prospect Ersan Ilyasova will enter the 2005 draft.

Ilyasova, a 6-9, 210 pound small forward, is considered the top prospect in Turkey and one of Europe's brightest young stars.

Some scouts have called Ilyasova a possible top 5-10 pick whenever he enters the draft. However with current European's stock taking a hit with a number of NBA European players struggling to live up to expectations, (Darko Milicic being the prime example), plus last years disappointing class, NBA teams might be reluctant to take a prospect who will need a few years of development before contributing so high.

After Mirsad Turkan, I'm afraid of any Turkish prospect being drafted by the Rockets.
