    *******NEW TRADE RUMOR***********

Heard it on Sporting News Radio Last Night on the Kevin Wheeler Show. Eric Snow for Eddie Griffin and maybe a player or two to match salaries

I think the rockets should do this trade. Snow is a pure point guard. I think he can defend sg's and can move franchise to the 2 and mobley to 6th man role and play pg or sg

    what u guys think?

No way...never trade an average short guy for an average big guy...that is just stupid.

    Agree wholeheartedly.

And Griffin has much more upside then Snow anyways. We won't be that much better by adding Snow and subtracting Griffin. But if Van Gundy can make a player out of Griffin we will be kicking some serious ass.

I am on the fence here.

It's valid to point out that JVG might be able to light a fire under EG. It's also valid to point out that EG is too thin for power forward and a bit too slow for small forward.

I think the best course is for JVG to coach/train EG and hope he improves.

Then trade his skinny ass after his value goes up )

As disilliusioned as I am with Eddie Griffin, I don't really like this trade. We'd be stuck with too many guards.

However, make it Eric Snow/Keith Van Horn for Eddie Griffin/Cuttino Mobley and I am all over it like fuzz on a peach!

This is a ridiculous trade. Eric Snow's best days are behind him. Griffin's best days are ahead of him. Nuff said. What kind of a stupid stupid trade is this?

Are you kidding me?? I wouldn't trade Griffin or Mobley for Van Horn... I would consider Snow for Griffin.. MAYBE, but I don't really like it. Snow/Van Horn for Griffin/Mobley is much worse than Snow for Griffin.

I'm not so upbeat on Eric Snow....

If they're gonna trade Eddie Griffin, they'd better make sure Malick Badiane can play, or is ready to play and will actually play.

Or trade Cato for Elden Campbell or somebody like that.

Terrible trade unless we can get Kenny Thomas back in return.

Man it pisses me off to keep seeing Griffin's name pop up in trade talks. I sure do hope the Rockets give him one more year before giving up on him. It is way too early to trade him off. He's only 21 years old and will only get better. I believe in a few years he could be a 15-10-2 PF which is very solid.

HELL NO! if you want to trade in a big guy, you should get a big guy in return. snow is just an average player and eddie is an average player but still in his early 20's and still has a lot of time and space for improvement.
