I know the chances are slim that the Rockets would be able to sign this guy, but I really hope Morey tries. I really like his scoring ability and he is a decent defender and a decent playmaker. If he isn't looking to re-sign with the Hornets I wonder if they would be willing to do a sign and trade.

I would not mind not re-signing Lee and also would love to amnesty Kevin Martin if it meant bringing this guy over. I know there is a risk since he has had some knee issues, but at some point this franchise has to take a risk. This guy is a solid star and I can definitely see him being a solid 1st option with some good pieces around him. If it meant giving up Kyle Lowry in a sign and trade, so be it. I'd love a Gogi/Gordon backcourt regardless of the size disadvantage.

This guy never passes the ball, it is not good for the team chemistry.

    Pass.

We need a guy that can score consistently and get create his own shot. Kevin Martin can score consistently when healthy, but is horrible at creating his own shot. Gordon can get buckets in a hurry which is something this team desperately needs besides a low-post presence.

Ugh, no. He's been consistent scoring force throughout his short career, how is this a one game deal?

right right, thats what he usually plays

the guy is a PG and would be undersized at that SG position at any team

he needs to ball in his hands and we already got Lowry and Dragic

so yes, he is a PG, undersized SG, something we really don't need

No he doesn't play PG. Just because he handles the ball quite a bit does not make him a PG.

what else is he then if he has the ball most of the time in his hands?

because he has 2 inches more than someone who is a PG doesn't make him a Guard in my opinion...

not to hijack your thread, just IMO he is not anything we really need right now

T-mac had the ball on his hands most of the time, was he a PG? Lebron has the ball in his hands most of the times, is he a PG? Carmelo has the ball most of the time in his hands, is he a PG? I could go on. He is a shooting guard. He scores, and he does it in bunches. He is also clutch. We need a player like him. We need a player that can consistently get to the basket and can give us a scoring option when we go on those long droughts. We don't have a player like that right now. Kevin Martin can do this for us, the only problem is that whenever they close the lane on him, he is not creative enough to get inside. He does not have the handles to consistently be relied on to get us an easy bucket. Gordon on the other hand, does.

    I understand your point,

but TMac, Lebron, Carmelo they can play PG, SG, PF etc...but Gordon is limited...he can't..and only plays PG
