Eric Cantor Loses To Tea Party Primary Challenger

Hopefully this will wake up the liberal Democrat light Republicans up and move the party back to the right where it belongs.

 

Ronald Reagan would lose a Republican primary because he wouldn't be far enough to the right.

On a serious note, dissent among Republicans is always good. This forces the GOP to dump more money propping up the establishment, which makes it harder for them to beat Democrats.

reagan granted amnesty, he had a much looser view on immigration than cantor, part of the reason cantor was defeated.

it's not insane to consider reagan would lose to a tea party candidate.

 

Depends on the state, Reagan was a California conservative which is a Democrat in a lot of less liberal states.

Part of the problem with news "Headline" is that people have started calling Cantor a moderate. He was always to the right of moderate.

 

Oh yes. It's the lack of extremism that's alienated the general voting public from the right.
