The fascination with the legendary Bay Area public transit pugilist Thomas Bruso continues, this time with a two part documentary.

For the black guy's (michael) side of the story (begins at the 55sec mark) and an interview with EPB... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I1r3dhMUO4

Also for the story behind Epic Beard Mans tazering at the A's game: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/crime/detail?entry_id=45083

And lastly for the perspective of the thief... errr i meant the girl behind the camera at the ac transit fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbsX5j-8T3Y

p.s. unfortunately Amber Lamps, the girl with the head phone has yet to make any public comments.

interview sorta changes the perspective on how the whole fight started. even though it was still wrong for micheal (black guy) to throw the first punch the old man shouldnt have made those racist remarks. if indeed thats how the whole thing started. wonder if the black girl ever got caught for stealing.

I also heard the black guy was taken back to prison for violating his parole from a previous murder?

What racist remarks? Asking how much the black guy charges for shining shoes? Some people are just too sensitive.

EBM: You ain’t scaring me! You ain’t scaring me! You ain’t scaring me!
Michael: Now I’ll put mah foot up your ass!
EBM: OH, NO YOU WON’T! NO YOU WON’T!
Sheneequa: Hey, hay, HAY! Now cheeeell.
EBM: You can put mine up yours. I’m gonna whoop your ass. Sit your little black ass down.
    Sheneequa: Forget about tha’!
EBM: You’re gonna sit your mother-****ing ass down!
Michael: I’ll put my foot up yo ass.
EBM: No, you wont do nothing to me!
Michael: Say it again! Say it, say it, say it alabomi now!
Iyanna: Say it ag’n. Say it a’gn! Say it ag’n, Pinkey!
Sheneequa: He’s getting down, nothing you can do about it now.

The bolded parts are the actual racists remarks by both Epic Bearded Man and Michael.

I can't speak to the validity of your transcript, but I can say that it was "Iyanna", as you show yourself, that called EBM "Pinky."

The bolded parts were the least of the problem in this situation, however volatile the politically correct people want those parts to appear.

The white guy said that. The black guy said he has never been to prison. The black guy was more coherent in his interview, so I tend to believe him.

IIRC the old man said, "My boy here is going to shine my shoes," referring to the black guy walking by. I'd consider that a racist remark. Not saying either guy was right or wrong, but that's what started the whole thing.

I thought it started because the white guy thought he heard something about shining shoes and asked the black guy how much he charges.

The black guy (who was drunk) was too sensitive and took offense and turned a misunderstanding into a racist remark.

I'm guessing you have never seen "Next Friday". The "say it again" quote is from a guy named Pinky in the movie. When have you ever know "Pinky" as a racial remark? Maybe to albinos? And all I kept thinking about the shoe shine comment was Goodfellas. "Now go get your fu**** shine box." "Motherfu**** mutt!" I think I use that line almost everyday is some fashion or another.

Are you that dense that you can't see how a 50 year old black guy would take offense to some old white guy asking how much he charges to spit shine shoes? It's not like he had a shine box and a shammy waiting for customers. He asked him out of the blue. It would be like if I asked you, out of the blue, how much do you charge to throw away my snot rag.
