    definitely on the language



    we had one of those bugs in our office one day and everyone was freaking out, both the men and women. i was wondering what the commotion was all about and then i go outside my office door and i see it on the wall nearby. it was pretty big, but i never understood the issue with bugs. i mean its one thing if its poisonous then yeah you have to be careful but otherwise the average human is like 20 times if not more its size and weight. while everyone was freaking out i just went inside picked up a paper towel and killed it. they all looked at me like i was crazy killing it with just the paper towel and my hands, but hell i was raised killing bugs like that. My mom would laugh at me if she saw me scared at bugs like that considering the environment she grew up in back in her village in india.

    Yes, never understood the deal with bugs in the US, they are not dangerous 99% of the time.

    I do believe it's an evolution mechanic. For example, arachnophobia. Two cavemen, 1 suffers from arachnophobia, other one does not. They see a spider -- spider is poisonous, but they don't know that. The arachnophobe stays far far away from the spider, calculating every scenario to avoid the bug. The other caveman wants to play with it. By trail and error, eventually the ones who suffer from arachnophobia has a better chance of survival, because they're more cautious.

    Then why is it funny? The weather mans fear and thought process is legit and therefore comedy, this guy is putting on an act that isn't funny IMO.. The ChiCity guy might be funny if I bought that he was actually that type of person, I just don’t.. Ignorance IMO can be very funny, but what he’s doing IMO is transparently seen as bad acting or poorly imitating Riley from The Boondocks..
