Innurestin' move. Looks like it's Blum at 3rd, with the occasional Viz/Ginter start. Morgan's reverted to some bad habits re: his stance that the staff tried to work out in ST. Basically, he's been lost at the plate for the last few weeks. He seemed pretty positive about the demotion, saying it'd give him consistent PT to make adjustments & that he expects to be back up this year. Gerry didn't make too big a deal of it either, saying that it happens to most young players.

Ginter's a good RH pinch hitter (something they've needed all year) & occasional starts at 2B should happen, esp. with Jimy at the helm; I just hope they don't put him at 3rd too often - brutal, brutal defense. I doubt Blum will be much better than Morgan (couldn't be worse), so I don't know what the answer is this year.

seems to me the 'stros have a small window of time to turn this season around...and they're gonna try.

On June 1st of last year, the 'Stros were at .500 & 8 games out of first. It can be done.

They are a little under .500 now. I don't see another Castillo signing in the near future either.
