Hey les if you want your team in the playoffs tell your DMorey to not wait till the deadline AND DO SOMETHING NOW. Rockets are losing to teams without their best player at home. geez
So, take a deal that will impact the future of the franchise in a profound way before the time that the best deals typically go down just to "do something?"
Yeah i can't take any more of this man i had a feeling that these guys were going to struggle at some point but i was hoping it wouldn't happen. We are toooooo short and need to get a shot blocker some way or another. I would even take a tyrus thomas hell just get us some one that can help yao when he comes back
Look...I like the idea of being competitive this year as much as the next guy. But it's not worth selling our future in a deal that hurts us later to give us an extra few wins now. Furthermore, losses to Atlanta and Denver aren't exactly a doomsday scenario: they're both top ten teams.
Think whatever you want, but this is an experimental season. We have virtually no shot at a championship, so there is no point in hurting the future by trying to be more competitive this season. We'll wait until the deadline, and even then, if nothing wortwhile is there, we'll be waiting until the offseason at least.
Hey Les, if you want to build a title contending team anytime in the next few years, don't panic now.
So you'd rather just take any trade now instead of waiting for the best offers which typically come near the deadline. Morey's not waiting for the heck of it.
trading mcgrady is not going to hurt our future. lets get something for his expiring contract but lets get something now and not wait 3 weeks
Yes, because Billups, JR Smith and Nene are just a bunch of low tier role players . And we all know Aaron Brooks (our best scorer) was on the court for the entire game.
We aren't getting out of the first round even if we were to make the playoffs. Damage control time. Wait until the deadline.
