It seems that many Rockets' fans are bashing our players after we lose a game.They havent got enough faith in our team and our players.I've seen many stupid threads like" Yao is THE most unclutch player EVER" "Is it possible to trade T-Mac or Yao + Ron for Duncan ?"etc...A lot of Yao haters are bashing Yao all the time after we lose,their comments are really ridiculous,they think we can win more games without Yao,they think we can build our team around AB(after a win and AB plays great during that win)and Wafer.They think Yao is useless on the court,they think............ We are not elite team this season,and NBA.com are saying that Rockets are darkhorses,with T-mac out this season,You have to admit that Yao really contributes a lot to the team. Can you pure haters just stop bashing Yao and enjoy every game?
Many people are just player lovers. They only care about the stat and performance of their heroes. Never pay attention to them.
your asking the impossible unfortunately my friend. as much as i do aggree with you, i cant help but know that houston rockets fans on this forum are the most knee jerk people to ever exist as fans. really its a shame to know that there are other teams struggling that have the talent, but we lose one game to below 500 teams just like every other team and we go crazy. count your blessings i say cuz we could be like pheonix, now they have something to complain about.
Yeah, that is what got me puzzled as well. If someone is a Rockets Fan, he or she should love and support every Rockets player. A rockets fan should also be a Yao fan, a Ron fan, a Battier fan, etc. I guess you can argue that the great disappointment came from too high an expectation. After many years of having one's high expectations turning into tears, we still haven't learned... Start off low, and, like the OP said, enjoy every game, we might get pleasantly surprised.
As a fan from China, I wish Yao could play great game in most games. But it doesn't happen. But whatever stat Yao got, I hope Rox win more games. As years passed, we are familliar with every Rockets. Battier is nice guy, deke is model of defender, Scola play spanish soild ball, Ron is emotional. Even for the guys left Houston, I still remember them including Rafer, J. Howard, Bonz, etc. Good to see Rox as a team is getting better. No one can win anything without team. Rick did a job not bad to merge the whole team. But he shall be the one to be more responsible to the team's performance. Instead of critizing players, RA actually need spend more time and brain efforts to work it out. That's why after every game, I always think what is biggest mistake of coaching .
