So, what was previously the most anticipated game of the Group stage is upon us. what are your thoughts on the results? how will the group of death shape up?

I am gonna go for the upset here. I shouldnt because there have already been enough upsets. However being lifted by Becks return and the golden Jubile, England by a goal. 3-2

It should also be noted that I will be suporting England. I used to call Argentina my #2, but maradona is long gone. DOWN WITH THE FAVORITES.

    2 goals for Owen

The worst thing about the game was that Owen, Hargreaves that is, got injured. He’s from Calgary and is the only Canadian in the tournament. His father is English so he was eligible to play for England or Canada. His choice was somewhat controversial in Canada, but now he’s playing and the Canadian team is watching, so it’s hard to argue with the wisdom of his decision.
