Anybody here have an Adaptec CD creator? Here's my problem - I'm trying to create a cd of "Rap that Doesn't Suck" (it's a very short cd). The problem is, two of the tracks (both by Rocca - French rap rules! =) ) are, um, sped up. They sound fine in MP3 format, but when I convert them to wavs using musicmatch, the song is about a third the length of the original and it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks are rapping in french about les jeunes de l'univers. I've successfully made other CDs with no problem, and it doesn't happen with every track, just these two and "My Best Friend's Girlfriend" which was the only one that did it on an earlier CD I made. If you have a sound editing program you could get the WAV and stretch it into the amount of time that the MP3 is. Then with the new WAV file go and make a new MP3 file.
