Saw this about your favorite Rocket or simply favorite human BEING of all time thought I needed to share this..... "Scottie Pippen left the courthouse in tears with wife Larsa Pippen after a Cook County jury awarded him a $2 million verdict in a legal malpractice case. "I don't want to really say anything, I'm just exhausted and tired," the former Chicago Bulls star told the Chicago Sun-Times on Monday. Pippen, who has reportedly lost $120 million in career earnings since his retirement in 2004, sued two attorneys at the Chicago law firm Pedersen & Houpt for a total of $8.2 million. Pippen alleged the attorneys failed to closely monitor his 2002 purchase of a jet, which was grounded only months after he bought it, for upgrades and refurbishing the interior. Pippen reportedly spent $4.3 million on the Gulfstream II corporate jet. The jury ruled that Pippen deserved blame as well in the bad business deal, awarding him roughly one-quarter of what he asked for. One of the firm's attorneys, Peter Sullivan, argued during opening statements that Pippen was looking for a scapegoat for his poor financial decisions over the years." http://nba.fanhouse.com/2010/06/30/scottie-pippen-larsa-pippen-lawsuit-verdict/ I think its funny how he can legally win a case like this, I mean use common sense you moron!
Let's see if he learned his lesson this time and invests in a MF or something low risk. That way he can simply live off the interest. Maybe not like a Multi-millionaire with 5 mansions, a fleet of exotic cars and a freakin gulfstream jet but he could totally live comfortably.
He should have asked for more royalties from Jordan if you ask me. The guy was on almost every Jordan poster doing what he does best. Staring up at MJ wishing he could lick his nuts.
I remember he shaved his head bald during Jordan's first retirement; skull looked like a damn coral reef. Disappointingly insecure and unhappy man.
It was actually Lars, but in order to get married (s)he had to have a more feminized name so people would believe that it was man and woman.
What he'll do with the $2M? Between the lawyers he hired for the case and all of his outstanding debts, he'll never actually see the money.
If Pippen had common sense, you'd think it would take more than 6 years to go through $70+ mil he got from his last contract.
