Who's better? I think Eminem is a better lyricist and he certainly has better beats (all thanks to Dr Dre), but I keep hearing how Nas is "king" and I just don't see it. I think Em's on top of the rap game.

Thats a tough one but I gotta go with Nas. I been a fan since Illmatic. I'm waiting for the "Lost Tapes" to drop tuesday.

Producers, the neptunes are on top of the game right now. I also like Dr. Dre, Dj Premier of Gangstarr(houston native), Timbaland, Jay Dee, Hi-Tek and Kanye West.

Definitely Nasty Nas. Eminem can't touch Nas' lyrics, style, or pure street music. I think the best Nas album is It Was Written or I Am. Both are classics.

To tell you the truth I haven't heard either one.

But If you like Nas' street lyrics and fat rhymes, you'll probably like Sizzla. If you think Eminem is good, you'll probably love Sizzla. I'd say he's the best straight up hardcore ghetto artist with positively flowing lyrics and pumping bass that I've ever heard. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody here has ever heard him, though. I don't think he makes many videos and they're sure not gonna play him on MTV. He's from the ghetto in Kingston, Jamaica and lays it on heavy rap/reggae style with positive and true lyrics and killer beats. Most popular rapper there.

I think Bobo Ashanti may be his best album.

Nas no doubt is the best right now but give Eminem a couple more years and he will be the best of ALL time

I like them both, Nas' lyrics are just so above anybody else, but eminem's style and passion cannot be denied either. They can both go from extremes like eminem can do without me and then go into a serious trance in Halie's Song. As Nas can go back up Oochie Wally and and contrast it with beautifully done cuts like Gangsta Tears and One Mic. Jay-Z is an idiot for the dumb **** he is spittin against nas.

Eminem is good and all, but doesn't have enough material to take over 2Pac's place as the G.O.A.T. and NEVER will.

    I don't listen to Nas, so I can't say.

I will just say Eminem because he doesn't rap about bling bling, and 22s, now 23s, soon 24s, and ice that is making him get a cold, and Gucci. (an aside, I hope Gucci doesn't turn ghetto.) Eminem doesn't rap about Ho's and b****es. Eminem might be the smartest rapper out there. You think Baby or Lil' Wayne has an idea who Tipper Gore or Dick Chaney is? Atleast Eminem raps about the whole social issue. I don't hear cash money rapping about that. How many times can you rap about the same suv over and over again? Rapping over a beat that is stolen from Gilligan's Island isn't fresh. It's not a novel concept either. Come on now, GIlligan's Island? Next single I hear, I bet it is going to be from the theme of Full House.
Whatever happen to the predicibility? The milkman, the paperboy, the evening tv.
