WoW what a day for me. I woke up and plan to go shoot around at wellness center and while shooting around i see Okafor enter through the door. Talked about the season and the USA Team. Talked about his rookie show on NBATV and played a game of quick 21. Dam what a day!!!
It looked his ankle was bothering him last night at Fonde in the first game of the night. In fact, I think he actually slightly hurt it again, as he fell kind of awkwardly early his game. However, he played through it and had some monster jams.
Emeka was awesome on that Rookies show. Had the balls to tell the world he was reading a book about transexuals
This thread has survived in the GARM for like 5 hours now? I'm amazed. Extremely cool that you met him though. Should have asked if he'd come play in our YMCA league. That'd solve the size problem I think.
Haha, I did ask him to play for our league and he just laughed at me. The wellness center i am talking about is the one next to HBU and Memorial on 59 where they had that big man camp. Its usually empty in the morning so i can get my shootaround.
...Also, tell him that the early morning when he called Denise a week or so ago, she didn't answer his call because she was on the phone with me... Real talk...
