This game has so gotten off on the wrong foot.

Even though I'm no Simms supporter, these announcers sure are riding the guy hard for no real reason.

What the hell has happened to our defense?

I woke up early for this ****?

I will gladly eat my words if we can pull this game out. I know its relatively early but unless our offense can stay out on the field for longer than three consecutive plays and our defense can stop the suckers from burning the clock with long drives... well its gonna be a long morning.

Our defense is quite possibly the most overrated of all-time.

UT will finish 5th in the South next year. Mack Brown has no ****ing clue.

Didn't realize Simms was such a trash talker.

Somehow, our team is always "surprised" when the opponent tries some new schemes that they havent shown before. I have no idea why. Youve only had about 3 weeks to prepare.

Maybe we should try a new wrinkle every once in awhile.

    Our coaches suck.

It's the wind. Always the wind. Our defense can't play against the wind.

    Wow, we sorta stopped them.

Well, a wide open dude couldn't catch the ball, but same result.

I think our OC and DC make nearly as much money as Dave Campo did. I guess Jones broke open the bank though.

Campo made $750,000 last year. Sadly, I can see Davis making that much.

My real hope is that Mack Brown's recruiting will become so good that it will override our terrible coaching.

There is no worse coach than Phil Fulmer and he won a national championship.

    I hate Greg Davis

I don't think that will happen.

I can also think of one worse coach. He's showing us his magic as we speak.

Should have happened by now. I don't know how our recruiting classes can get any better, especially when we play like ass on national television every chance we get.

"I do believe Bevo could punt that ball better"... sums it up well.

    He could definitely coach better.

This team will be a Big XII South afterthought in a few years.

You're asking a lot. We have all top-5 recruiting classes now for the past four years. That's why this was supposed to be the "no excuses" year. It will be hard to have any more talent on the team than we already do.

Don't think it's Mack necessarily, but the guys he hires. But, I think a team takes on the persona of their head coach, in this case, Mr. Nice Guy.

With 4:25 remaining in the first half, LSU has over 300 yards.

    300 yards

    First half

Carl Reese should join Greg Davis on UT fans boo list. Maybe with Simms gone, the fans can focus there negative energy on those who really deserve it-the coaching staff.

I dont think we have a single assistant coach under the age of 35. Theyre all a bunch of old coots who sit around and collect a fat paycheck

Seriously. When was the last time we had an overacheiver on this team (Major Applewhite was one but he went to every single QB camp since the age of 13). The best players on this team have made it on pure talent alone.

We need some young, hungry position coaches that can teach.

The fact that no one has offered our coordinators a head coaching job speaks volume.
