There are talks that the Rockets and the Wizards want Elton Brand. Does anyone know who the Rockets are going to send to the Clippers if the deal goes down, or is it just a rumor someone made up.
cc.net'ers here want Brand. But I haven't heard anything outside of this BBS. Where did you hear your info about this "secret deal?"
We all know that if it comes from hoopsworld or the ESPN message boards, then it must be true. Speaking of which, I wonder if people on ESPN and hoopsworld message boards see stuff on here then post threads on those BBSs using some of the conjecture seen here as rumors.
Would the salaries match Grifin for Brand. If so then the Clippers may go for it since Eddie would be locked up for another 2yrs at the rookie salary. Brand will demand around 70 mil for the next 7 yrs (He already stated that he would sign for less than the max). If the salaries don't match maybe we could throw in Moochie or Maddox. Moochie is locked up for another 4yrs at 2.5 mil and Maddox will be locked up at his Rookie contract for another 3yrs. Donald Sterling might go for it since he's not going to pay for Brand to stay this off season any way.
