You provided a well thought out and fair reply. I largely agree with most of what you have stated. Other notes: Those who appreciated Jack Dorsey's leadership and vision will do well under Musk. I think the 75% number was intended to send a clear message; Be productive and get in line with the new vision. Majority of those who are fired would likely quit given time. Twitter will move HQ to Texas or Florida, likely Texas I am interested in seeing if Jack Dorsey will play a future role in Twitter. I also suspect Musk sees huge value in mining human behavioral patterns for his AI products. Musk will use Twitter metadata, including increasing brand recognition and for political gains (business and gov). I have stated this several times; Palantir/Thiel are a huge concern of mine. All and all, I do believe he has some grand ideas that goes beyond the value of the company. He has suggested such he wants Twitter to be the cornerstone of his X.com vision.
Two good articles on the fun Elon has gotten himself into: https://www.theverge.com/2022/10/28...witter-acquisition-problems-speech-moderation https://theintercept.com/2022/10/28/elon-musk-twitter/ Obviously they are biased (and amusing), but their points on advertisers and "free speech" are spot on.
