Mrs. rimrocker wants an elliptical trainer for the home. Looking to come in under $1500. Considering a Sole E35 for $1,299.00 or a HealthRider Club Series H140e for $1,199.00. SOLE Healthrider Anyone have experience with these? Any recommendations between these two or other brands? Thanks.
I bought a Nordictrack about 3 or 4 years ago that's still running fine. I think I paid around $1000 for it. It's got a power/push button incline on it which was important for me. Some of these things can get expensive because they're apparently better quality, but like I said, this one's done fine for me. I don't know about the different brands other than, like vacuum cleaners, people seem to have their favorites and defend them to the death. lol.
a gym membership costs 30~(maximum), local gyms start around 10~ a month the thing with these machines is that.. once you're used to the routine, your body will use less effort to perform these actions, especially something as one dimensional as an elliptical machine i know you're looking for advice for purchasing a good elliptical machine, so my words really aren't justified, but it's something to think about 1500/30 = at least 4 year gym membership
You don't know her... she's a pilot, fencer, belly dancer, and general bad ass. She'll stick with it. I might even get a few workouts in.
Yes, but then you factor in all of the time spent driving to the gym and I can understand paying a premium for the convenience factor.
Yep. We live about 15 minutes away from the nearest gym and about 20 away from the nearest one we would join.
I do HIIT training on ellipticals. They are really good on the knees also. But I would rather workout at a gym than at home.
Just do 100 burpees. They're free, you can do them in the living room, and they'll work you harder than any elliptical. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21dvQyNiTjM
