Haven't been a comic book reader for decades - could someone explain how she dies in Daredevil and comes back for this?

So Elektra comes back. Weak. I thought Daredevil was kind of gutsy for offing her at the end, but now I find out that she just gets the "back from the dead" treatment. Eh, what should I expect. It is a comic book after all.

Daredevil clearly alluded to her still being alive, or so I thought.

I missed that, but it could have been all the quick cuts in the action sequences making me lose track of the plot.

Marvel's response to Catwoman. Expect similar results.

At the very end of Daredevil, he finds that necklace of hers hanging on his rooftop, that alludes that she's still alive. I've seen the trailer and some featurettes from the editing room for Elektra, and it doesn't seem they show her putting that up there for him.

In the comics, she was killed and her creator, Frank Miller wanted her to stay dead. Of course people don't stay dead long in the comic book world, so she was brought back.

Don't feel too bad, there wasn't much of a plot to follow.

    Daredevil sucked.

That's because you didn't read the comics to fill in the plot holes :D. I know that sounds lame, but remember how they did dune? It's the genearl idea with comics.

I'll admit, I've never been a fan of Daredevil in general, comic book or otherwise.

But I was never a fan of the Hulk in comic form either, and that movie at least kept my attention (until the end when it all went to hell).

Maybe it's because I saw the Hulk in the theater, so I had to pay attention. I watched Daredevil at home.

Wake me when Spiderman 3 comes out.
