I am in the market for some new speakers as my old 70's Fisher Studio Standard's have finally had it. Looking to spend 600-2000 depending on the value I can get for the buck. Upon browsing for reviews on various audiophile sites, I have gathered that the consensus is that electrostatic speakers are vastly superior to cones when it comes to speed, dynamics, and sincerity. Just wondering if anyone who has owned a pair would offer their opinion. Thanks!
