I am looking for something similar to the item above. I'd rather not have to have something shipped over from China. If something like this is available in the states, please point me in the right direction.

I just recently changed shifts at work. I now work from 8:00pm-5:00am. Out of those nine hours, I'm on the road driving for six of them. I am driving from Houston to Refugio and then immediately turning around driving back. My problem is that I mostly listen to sports radio and the antenna in my work truck (Dodge Sprinter) sucks.

I'm looking to download a couple podcasts of the morning sports talk shows here in Houston and then listen to them while I'm driving at night. I want something that will play MP3's and plug into my cigarette lighter and transmit using an FM station.

Any help you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an auxillary port in your cart? I'd just use that which I think actually gets you better sound quality than that device. If not but you can also get an ager market radio with auxillary inputs if you can add a radio to the car.

Spend the money and get a good FM transmitter if you don't have any aux inputs. I got a cheap one and blew my Boston Acoustics door speakers b/c of all the distortion from the crappy cigarette lighter transmitter I got from Fry's.

I believe my cousin has one from Maxell(?), not a hundred percent sure, but he just plugs it into his ipod, and it works like a charm...

It's a company vehicle so I cannot make any modifications to it. And no, there is no auxiliary port.
