Wow. Even with all of the nauseating media attention, that seemed pretty quick! Didn't know it was today.

Watching those returns should be almost as much fun as the Rockets game for those who hangout in this forum.

Fun...as in fascinating, amusing, or surreal?

I wish I had the time to scan in some of the literature I've received -- quite entertaining.

Woofer, good for you. I voted this morning. It is surprisingly easy, for me at least. 3 "No" answers and a Bust-a-move. Actually, I wanted to vote Camejo, but I voted Bust-a-move to punish the recall zealots as much as possible. Also, the vote concerning infrastructure (53) was difficult. I followed Camejo's advice on that, ultimately, after lots of reading. I think the proposal was poorly written, even though the bottom line is a good idea.

    Either:
    (1) Tigers in apartments,
    (2) Our recall of Arnold, or
    (3) The leakage! heh heh

Don't hold your breath. There are probably people already organizing recalls for whoever may be elected. Plus, there will no doubt be legal challenges to all kinds of stuff.

This is good to go for at least a whole week or more... Davis leaving in humiliation and Arnold taking control or Arnold rejected and Davis relieved, or Davis leaving in humiliation while Bustamante tries to look appropriately saddened and Arnold skunks away, or Gary Coleman names his advisors while Davis and Arnold and Cruz leave in humiliation, etc., etc.

If Arnold wins, it will be over till the first gropee files suit. I expect Arnold to be hounded by gropees till the recall on him occurs.

Arnold should win, he reflects what the majority of Americans and Californians think.

Fiscally conservative - Less government and less intrusion.

Socially Moderate - Pro Choice, pro gun control laws etc..etc..

    I like him...GO ARNOLD !!

    DD,
You just added more detail to his platform than he has! ;) (serious, actually... sadly).

glynch is actually correct. These gropees (love that word) have already been through the public embarrassment and hassle of coming forward. Some of them will turn to the courts. Think recalling a non-law-breaker was easy? Just wait. I for one will definitely sign the petition to recall Arnold. Fight stupid fire with stuipid fire. We can wait as long as the republicans waited after Davis's last election... What was that, a week? Yeah, he'll have one week.

As far as the candidates go, I want the p*rn star to win. After all, a retroactive tax on breast implants in California would create an instant surplus that even Gray Davis couldn't spend his way through!!:D

If California were a country, it would have the world's 6th largest economy. I don't know how close Texas is, but I suspect we are reasonably comparable. Here's hoping our choices are never narrowed down to a candidate with a high degree of benign ineptitude versus an entertainer with no political experience. Regardless of their party affiliations.

(benign ineptitude = not really a crook, but not paying very good attention).

Thank goodness this is on the home stretch.

A little internet chatter about Arnold voters skipping over the recall question and only voting for him. Could be big, could be nothing...

I'm a big fan of Arnold the Actor, but if I lived in California I think I would respond to this the same way.
And I thought the Texas constitution was crazy! (400+ amendments)

Can you imagine the aftermath if that were to happen?
