18 October 2005 EXCLUSIVE: PENSIONERS TRAPPED IN SEX-PARTY HELL - Couples romp in pool - Boozy oral sex games -Swingers play in nude By Paul Gallagher BRITISH tourists looking for a peaceful fortnight in the sun found themselves trapped in a sleazy resort surrounded by sex-crazed swingers. The group, including several pensioners, arrived at the 4-Star Blue Bay Getaway hotel in the Mexican resort of Cancun on a last-minute deal with Airtours. But they had not bargained for round-the-clock nude romps in the pool, oral sex tequila games by the bar and lesbian shows. EXPOSED: Undercover footage showing guests playing a banana game at the Blue Bay hotel When the couples complained on their first day, a tour rep said they would have to put up with the depravity unless they wanted to pay up to £600 to move to another 4-star hotel or have a free transfer to an inferior hotel with no discount. After they returned to Britain, some received letters from Airtours but no compensation. The firm changed its mind after an investigation by the BBC Watchdog programme. Marlene Black, 65, a retired chef from Hull, who was with her daughter Kym Maxwell, said: "I saw two men with a board saying 'I am a big loser'. A second later I realised they were both starkers. "Women were by the pool doing things with bananas and the men had their blow-up dolls. "It was filthy and depraved. I have never seen people as obsessed with sex." SORDID: Man licks woman's breasts as onlookers ogle the 'Tequilla game' Social worker Kym, 44, added: "It was filthy and graphic. People were running around naked. There were couples in the pools having sex." Trevor Davies, 61, from Stoke-on-Trent was with his 63-year-old wife Patricia. He said: "The pools were split into the 'sexy pool' and the 'game pool' where all the sex games were going on. "Then there was the 'quiet pool' but there was still sex going on in there - and it wasn't quiet. "Two American blokes were on the verge of having a threesome with a buxom girl. "Would you go in a pool after people have been having sex in it?" The couple later got a letter from Airtours, but it failed to include any compensation. After Watchdog got involved, they were offered full compensation, plus £150 in Airtours vouchers if they booked through the company again. Another tourist, Tony Boynton, 51, who was with his partner Tracey Day, said: "There were signs up advertising kissing competitions and 'lovely legs' competitions, which verged on live sex shows. "We shouldn't have to lower our morals and be forced to stay somewhere like this." Watchdog filmed at the hotel but decided to censor much of its footage because it was too explicit. Undercover reporters saw couples in a drinking game combining tequila and oral sex. Binge-drinking women were caught on camera simulating sex with a banana. SHOCKING: Banana game gets more depraved Watchdog editor Sandy Smith said: "We decided to go out ourselves because we wanted to be sure the couples who complained to us weren't just a bit prudish. "But our team was shocked by what they saw and were able to film and they're young and broadminded. "We've had to blob out almost all of it. When they tackled the Airtours rep she admitted a 70-year-old woman had complained and it was clear this had been going on for some time. "We're glad the firm has offered compensation after Watchdog got involved and said it won't put 'allocation on arrival' guests in the Blue Bay Getaway again." Airtours' website describes the Blue Bay Getaway as a "hotel strictly for grown-ups". But some of the tourists booked their holiday in the MyTravel website - Airtours' umbrella company - which caters for several operators. In a statement last night, Airtours said: "In our brochures, and for our normal late deal bookings, we do make clear that this is an adult only property, with adult-orientated entertainment. More than 2,000 customers this year have stayed at this hotel and we had only six complaints." "Only customers who are aware of the adult atmosphere should be placed in this hotel. "This did not happen in this instance and for that we apologise. We hold our hands up." Watchdog is on BBC1 tonight at 7pm. The scenes pictured above will NOT be appearing in the show. Take anything you read from UK news sources with a grain of salt. I visited a few years ago, and everything is sensationalized and dramatized. In fact, the headline of the London Daily News the day I left was 'Bill Gates Gives Most of His Money to Chairity' or something along those lines.
Great. Now when I make reservations, I need to ask: swilkins: "Will there be sex romps here?" Agent: "Si. Is that ok?" swilkins: "Si"
I think you mean newspapers like The Sun, News of the World, Mirror, etc. These are tabloids. I think I saw some of this show last night actually. Sources such as the Guardian or Times are perfectly good sources of info. It's not like people here call the National Enquirer a news source.
