Great news! I can't believe that I am barely found out about this!

The third installment of this bad-ass trilogy has been completed and is set to be released soon. I can't believe I have heard nothing about it and has been completed for about 6 months! Apparently filming was being done last year in different places in Mexico.

I am stoked about this movie! Desperado blew me away when it was released in 1995. Cheech, Quentin, Antonio, Buscemi, those guys kick ass! (It also doesn't hurt that the first two movies were filmed in my hometown!)

From reports the new movie will have an all-star cast that includes Johnny Depp and Enrique Iglesias and of course Antonio.

Has anybody else heard anything else about this movie?

Haven't heard anything about that... but I had no idea that Rodriguez directed Spy Kids and Spy Kids 2!?!?!?

Rodriguez is a friend of mine, and the guy who played EL MOCO in the original was my college roomate.

It has been fun watching Robert grow with the industry.

I liked the first, didn't love the second, though. I will probably rent this one some day, but not have high expectations.

El Mariachi was cool. Then the guy fell in with a bad crowd with Tarantino and all. Deperado was devoid of all the elements that made the first one so good. If he's still trying to be a Mexican Tarantino, I think I'll wait till someone else rents it.

I've been trying to find the original El Mariachi for years to rent. Guess I need to try harder.

    Rock,

El Moco is one of my best friends, his name is Peter Marquardt and we attended SWT together in the 80s and early 90s.

He is a good guy, and the funniest guy I have ever partied with bar none.

DaDakota, cool! That is great. We went to SWT at close to the same time.

I started in '87 and I graduated in '92. When did you go there? El Mariachi was a great film too.

    go Bobcats:D
