no, but eightball and MJG are one of the better duos. I need to dust off the old CDs.

Right now the best "southern rapper" is pretty obvious....

    Killer Mike

Their first 3 CDs had them on track for greatest hip-hop duo IMO.

    Then they fell off severely....

Chamillionaire has one of the best flows and is very talented, but he fell off too.

So you put both Bun and Pimp and only include Eightball but refuse to even mention MJG? WTH?

Also, putting Big Boi in the second group???
Lastly, since when is Pusha T a "southern rapper"? Isn't he born in NY and from VA(technically could be considered the south but usually not in rap circles).

    Big Krit is still there.
KMike and El-P are both slaying it though and RTJ is a blessing to rap fans I think but let's not leave out Krit who might still be kinda underrated.

Pimp C isn't the greatest rapper to me. His beats were great though. He said a lot of funny stuff too.

His attitude is what made him great.

    Funny image

MJG is closer to 20 than 10, IMO. But it's not ludicrous to mention him.

Big Boi could be Top 10, I just think the 1st group is clearly ahead of him.

Pusha T is mentioned because VA is technically the South. He's done plenty work with Southern artists.

Jeezy deserves mention, although I'm not a fan.

    Beats
    Swag
    Singing
Punchlines- How many times has his voice been sampled for somebody's hook? Plenty

Pimp C was more UGK than Bun.
    1) the group was his idea
    2) he did the beats
    3) he did most of the hooks
    4) he invented the word Trill

His death was a huge loss for the South and all of Hip-Hop.

    R.I.P.

    Guess I disagree.
I believe MJG is in the bottom half of the top 10 best Southern rappers.

Big Boi is right up there with Andre 3000 in that top group imo. Both are in the top 10.

VA is technically the south on a map but that doesn't make Pusha a southern rapper. He doesn't claim the south or rap for the south So I won't consider him a southern rapper.

Forgot about Snowman. I'd put him top 20 but not top 10.

I hear you. Most Outcast fans I know think 3000 is clearly ahead of Big Boi and Andre out-raps him in 90% of their songs. I tend to agree with that. Big Boi is still very good, though... probably a Top 10 South Rapper.

What does Pusha T claim? I think he just claims VA.
His (and The Clipse's) collabs are mostly with Southern artists.

Tela deserves mention... he's probably Top ~20.

Mr Mike was talented, just didn't put in much work.

north carolina is further south than virginia so if youre going to mention pusha.. phonte from little brother should be mentioned. as a rhymer easily one of the better southern emcees.. little brother had enough clout to be mentioned with the others.. i guess impact and fame matter most here i suppose, the reason guys like bun make top 5 lists.. bun/ugk had some great music but average rhymers and bun generally gets outshined on every feature, but hes an ambassador for the city so top 5.. obviously the heavyweights are face, 3000, wayne, big boi in his prime was nice..

Totally slept on NC. Phonte and Cole are Top 10 worthy.

    Ludacris also deserves mention.

Can't see how Bun could ever be considered an average rhymer though. Dude has great lyrics, style, and flow.
Post some collabs he's been outshined on.

3000 got em, but I think Andre is better anyways. Big Boi? No
