Ops! Or is Eid Mubarak the holiday! Needless to say I don't know much about Muslim holidays. ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is. [This message has been edited by mc mark (edited March 05, 2001).]
Yea it's Bakr-Eid. Whooo-hooo I love missing school for religous holidays. ------------------ Charles Barkley on TBS on the "fat track" poll: "What? 47% said I'd gain more.....why those.....they better be glad this is a family show."
mc mark, Muslims celebratee two Eid's in the duration of one year. The big one is Eid-Ul-Fitr, which comes at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Roughly 75 days later, and at the commencement of the holy pilgrimmage of Hajj at Mecca, comes Bakr-Eid. My apologies if my spelling is off. So is Eid Mubarak a salutation for the celebration of Bakr-Eid? If so, peace and Eid Mubarak to you and Rockets R' Us and Hakeem! ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
