do you think the rockets will retire Barkley's jersey? do you think he was significant player for the rockets? i was thinking about webber coming to the rockets, but he's #4. and barkley was #4. so i was just wondering if theyd retire barkleys number or just let webber have #4.

Good question. I don't think the Rockets will retire Barkley's #4. IF Webber does come here, he'll probably ask Charles if he can use #4. If not, it probably won't be a big deal. I'm more concerned about getting Webber in a Rockets Jersey!

Webber did wear #2 at Washington for a while... Not sure why, but he did...

It would be appropriate that he take Mo's #...

The Rockets should not retire Barkley's jersey. The next jersey they retire should be Elvin Hayes.

I love CB4 but he didn't really accomplish anything here in Houston. It was good theat Philly did and he took Phoenix to the finals, but I would say no.
Maybe when he goes to the HOF they could do something at that point as a ceremonial thing though.

I know Barkley didn't accomplish a whole lot here in Houston, but he did do some things like sign for the minimum 1 million dollar contract so we could get Pippen...and he was pretty popular here, right?

I dont know....but I hope they do retire his jersey!

I doubt they will retire CB's jersey. Had it not been for (a) The championship, and (b) his "hometown status", they wouldn't have retired Drexler's jersey.

Maybe Les should retire "Houston NHL #34" (despite the fact there is no team) when Dream's number goes up in the rafters, so no "big four" professional athelete can ever wear that number again (The Astros retired it for Ryan, and the Oilers for Campbell).

I think eggplant soup is best when you mix in some garlic and a little rosemary.
