In the pregame Bill Worrel just said EG will get serious minutes at the Center spot tonight. This should be very interesting.

On my tv set, Eddie Griffen was listed at the starting Center position for tonight's game. 3 & 4 Was Thomas and Morris in no particular order because I don't remember those details!!!

the pa announced him in the intro's as a forward but he guarded malik rose who played center for the spurs tonight. on the screen he was listed as center so i think they just confused it on the pa. kenny spent most of him time on duncan and tmo on bruce bowen.

Eddie's start at the 5 is simply because the Rockets had NO centers to play the game tonight:

    Yao Ming - in China
    Kelvin Cato - injured
    Jason Collier - injured

Even Mo Taylor can play some 5 (and I think he will at points throughout the season), but he didn't start because he was coming off an injury and Rudy wanted to monitor his minutes against the Spurs' second unit. Don't expect Eddie to get oodles of minutes at the 5 this season.

I disagree with you on the Eddie front. I think that Eddie will see quite a bit of minutes at the 5 spot this year.

It's put up or sit down Cato..

I think I saw in the stats that Eddie had 5 blocks. If that's true, does anyone know who he stuffed?

I saw in another thread that he had two against duncan! one on a put back, and the other on an attempted slam. I am not sure about the other 3.

Ah cool. That's what I was looking for. That kid was stuffing Duncan last year and may have had 1 or 2 on the Mermaid. Duncan needs to respect the kid... ;)
