Griffin sucks...forget about his off the court troubles.

    Poor post defender
    Flat jumper
    Poor shot selection
    Zero post moves

The Rockets are better off without him

Hmm i dont think i would go that far A-Train, i mean he could give us an extra 8 to 10 points we really need

Points at the expense of which player he is in for. There are trade winds blowing....

    Bonzi Wells

    NJ playing bad

    Magic sucking it up

    etc. etc.

The Rockets big men are foul prone. EG would provide some much needed help, but he should be the third option (behind Cato and Mo). Maybe in this limited role, the pressure on EG would be more manageable and he could begin to develop and (dare I say it) flourish.

    I want him back.

Maybe, but he'd be taking them away from somebody else...Like the addition of Eddie Griffin will vault the Rockets scoring by 8 points per game...

Griffin would be a huge boost to the Rockets right now. Sure he isn't the best PF, but he's still capable of getting us 8-10ppg and 7-8rpg.

8-10 points and rebounds that Cato and MoT wouldn't be in the game for = no improvement and probably much worse

    Get rid of him...

He's a PF that consistantly shoots in the 30s and doesn't like to bang. MoT is better. Paggett is better. And I'd rather see Ford out there than EG. We should have traded him a couple of years ago - when he had trade value.

I agree with A-train, I think at some point you just cut your losses.

Hindsight being what it is and all...how good would Jefferson, Zach Randolph (drafted 1 spot after Collins) & Raul Lopez/Tony Parker (drafted 1/5 spots respectively after Armstrong) look in Rox red?

If we wanted a shot blocking, 3 point shooting PF who is afraid to mix it up under the basket, we could have just signed Horry...

We would have probably tried to force them to sit on the three point line while Francis and Cat dribbled around looking for a 1 on 2

It is not just hindsight. One bad pick means you are unlucky,
consistently bad picks mean that you are NOT good at drafting.

By picking Ginobilli, Parker, Spurs show that they have really good talent in picking players.

By picking EG, Boki, and whoever drafts that are not currently on the team, Rox showed consistently that they are NOT good at drafting.

I'd rather be 10-7 picking bad ones. If we had our cast and substituted Duncan for even Yao we would be 12-4 at least. Not a losing team like SA is right now...
