Did anyone else see this? CNN.com's headlibne article was on Margaret Spelling being nominated as Education Secretary. The photo accompanying the article was of a kiss (on the lips) between her and GWB. I showed the photo to a few colleagues, so I know I was not imagining this. Just checked back to show some others, and the photo has changed. Pretty funny.

This might be a surprise, but she is an idiot. Not much of a change from Paige. She graduated from Sharpstown HS here in Houston, by the way. Yep, one of those "miracle schools" that went from 80% dropout rates to 100% graduation.
Paige was an incredible moron, universally hated by everyone who ever worked for him in HISD and considered an incredible opportunist in the world of education. Hard to imagine it, but Spelling is worse. rimbaud is right. He should know since his parents do the same thing mine do - teach. Not that any of this will matter anyway.
Condi will be pissed over this one. Nobody does that to her husba... I mean the President and gets away with it. She might be the same, but she can't be worse than Paige.
Yeah, there are a lot of snickers going around in HISD. It is amazing how a person with no value and really poor work morality can rise so high.
