That's what I was thinking. What do the Colts do for an RB now? Draft or free agency ... or are they actually comfortable with Rhodes/Mungro?
I'm not so sure, Edge, Warner, Fitzgerald and Boldin make one hell of an offense. If they could put a defense together, they can become a contender pretty quickly.
I've heard that the Colts are going to release Rhodes to avoid paying him a $1.5 million roster bonus. Probably gonna go after someone in the draft if that does happen...
Wow, I guess money is more important to him, even though I agree respect is involved. I don't understand some athletes. Although I am not in, nor will ever be in the position to have to decide between playing for a legit contender rather than a cellar squad, I would opt for the chance at a title. Especially if I already had enough in the bank to last for three lifetimes
Wow....if they get the right pieces they can have a huge run and shoot team...with Boldin, Fitzgerald, James and Warner. They can put up some huge numbers. They put up crazy recieving numbers without a running game...it's amazing they were able to do that and now they have a Star RB to open it up even more. I wonder what will happen now.
aside from the Culpepper fracas, the Vikes have come out of the gate hard in free agency, adding Chester Taylor, Longwell and Leber and now offered Hutchinson a massive offer sheet... thoughts??
Meanwhile the Redskins just signed Randle El and traded their 3rd rounder and a future 4th for Brandon Lloyd. Which means they now have Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd and Randle El in the slot. If they can get steady QB play watch out.
I was thinking Adai (sp?) with where they pick, but if Maroney was still on the board he probably would be the choice. Eliminates RB possibilities to the Cards (e.g., LenDale, Williams)
Well since Ind Colts could've prevented all this if they just Franchise tagged him I blame the team on this one.
This is where all the NFL gurus predict the Cardinals to make some hay this year. This is THE season. This is THE year. This is it. Finally. THIS IS IT. The year. of the red birds. It is it. This is the year for the cardinals. This is the season, the magical season. and they go off and win three or four games.
