For £32 million. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18138145 This guy is the next big thing and has the athleticism+technical skills+vision to go down as one of the all time greats... provided he's developed under the right manager. If he signed with United or Arsenal (too cheap to buy him), I would have guaranteed he'd surpass Ronaldo in terms of on-field impact. His success at Chelsea depends on who they hire to manage and where they play him. Regardless, for me, he's the player to watch during the Euro's. Great day for Chelsea football. =[
After hearing all the rumors of him and Man City (my team) I signed him up in FIFA and had a blast playing with him. Was hoping he would sign with us for real. Sucks that we missed out on him, but its City, I'm sure there's a plan B.
And with one sentence Kam just showed Ronny what the five fingers said to the face. Damn Kam, you ain't even have to do him like that bruh.
Keep in mind even though the Beeb are reporting it, nothing has been decided. If any soccer player right now would pull something similar to LeBron, it'd be Hazard with "Le Decision". I wouldn't count City out of the running just yet. Also, no disrespect to Eden but there are only a handful of people that if United signed right now would even have a chance of matching Ronaldo's on-field impact at the time and Eden is not one of them. I know you've preached the Gospel of Hazard for a while now and he is a fantastic talent but cool them heels.
He announced it on his twitter and teammates/premier league players have confirmed it as well. http://twitter.com/#!/hazardeden10 If I'm Nike, I'm already handing out phat sponsorship deals to him without a minute of premier league football... that's how LeBron he is. Silky smooth, powerful, quick, vision, flair - he's the guy who makes a difference wherever he goes. At 21 he's just about ready to enter the golden zone. Let's hope Chelsea don't screw it up.
DAMN YOU CHELSEA! Actually I like it since it has now become an ABC( Anyone but City) world for me. You like Eden Hazard just a lil bit don't you? Just a tad?
People say he'll go to Barca because Real president Perez screwed up. Apparently Neymar was very close to signing with Madrid but then Perez called him and said things like "You won't be the star of the team, you have to play right" and other stupid things that of course don't sound good to a guy that wants to be one of the best players in the world.
lets see him prove himself in the EPL. dude played great in the ligue one, but EPL is a whole nother level. As an arsenal fan i hope he turns out to be ****e but i gotta admit his talent is exciting.
If RVP leaves, would you boo him if he ever plays against Arsenal again? I think wherever RVP goes, if he decides to leave, he won't be as good as he was in Arsenal. Much like Torres with Chelsea. I took great pleasure in seeing him fail...
Chelsea sign Hulk for £38m Most dynamic goal scorer in Europe. That's a lineup of Torres Mata - Hazard - Hulk Lampard Mikel/Ramirez Cole - Terry -Cahill/Luiz - Ivanovic Looks smooth, but really soft. Man City have creative guys like Silva and Nasri in the midfield surrounded by hard nosed workhorses. Chelsea's collected a lot of talent that doesn't really fit together. Maybe they'll swoop for Yann M'Villa after the Euro's, they'll need guys like him behind their big (or just expensive) 4.
I have to believe Hulk was brought in to lead the forward line rather than Torres(or compete with him for the starting position up front) The stuff about workhorses doesn't really make much sense because that's exactly what Mikel is and Ramires to an extent. Mikel is the water carrier for the Chelsea side much like Barry is for City(and Yaya when he's not needed to make runs forward). Essien if he regains his form is also capable and I think the hope is that Romeo's play improves next season when called upon. I think you also should pencil down Cahill-Luiz as the preferred starting CB pairing because with Terry's age, problems and injuries, he will be fighting for a starting spot. Di Matteo (if signed)won't want to cause team problems by immediately dropping Terry(I think) but will hope Terry's case keeps him occupied for a while. With Hulk leading the line, Mata and Hazard behind him and Lampard-Mikel-Ramires behind them while Marin, De Bruyne, Sturridge, McEachran, Romeu, Meireles, Chelsea have a decent mix as they try to get some youth into the side.
