After watching the game against Seattle- I am really proud of Eddie. He really seemed to get in Lewis' head- Lewis was frustrated when he threw the ball out of bounds in the 3rd Q.

At 19 Eddie will grow and improve.

I think Rashard Lewis is an over rated player that Gary Payton makes better.

One of the best plays last night was Eddie swooping through the lane and swatting Rashard's shot and still keeping it in play.

Easy, if it's one or the other it's EG. But we're not trading EG for Lewis. Isn't the question some folks want answered, will we trade KT and picks for Lewis in a sign and trade?

Eddie blocks shots. Rashard does not ;). Shotblockers that have any type of shooting ability are far more rare than 3 point shooters.

That said, Rashard did put up pretty good #'s in his second year in the NBA, when I suppose he would have been Eddie's age. Shot .485 from the field... much better than Griffin's current %.

Well, considering we still have Mo, and Rice (thinking about a healthy team), I'll go with Eddie and the game he brings...and will bring in another two years.

I think Eddie is more important then Steve for the future of the Rockets...In three years Griffin is a perineal ALL-STAR!
Come to think of it, so is Francis. Will we remeber this tandem like we remeber Stockton Malone??

Hopefully not, because I remember Stockton and Malone as a bunch of cheating, flopping, whining, ringless losers.

I've seen a lot of Rashard, and I really like his game, but Eddie has Kobe-like skills in a 6'10" body. The guy is going to be ridiculous. I wouldn't trade Griffin for anybody.

Kobe and Eddie are two entirely different type of players.

    Kobe-like skills:confused:

I think Eddie has a lot of potential, but as far as being a perimeter player, I haven't seen him take 2 dribbles without turning the ball over. It looks like he's turning into Horry II, and that scares the crap out of me. Of course, he's a rookie, so hopefully he'll work on moving inside more in the offseason.

What I mean is that Eddie could be a player on Kobe's level. A great player, in a bigger body. Obviously, they play very different styles of ball. Just remember that Kobe only averaged 8 points in his rookie, and Griff is averaging 9!

And, he is a clutch performer!

Kenny Thomas is some what an important commodoties and he's got the edge when defending bigger players and has a lot of killer moves in the paint. I really don't think Lewis has better trade in value than KT.

Eddie Griffin two years from now with 25 pounds of muscle added is going to be a MONSTER.

For what it is worth, Eddie at 19 is better than Kobe at 19. Taller, better shooter and defender. Not even close. He may not have as many cross over dribbles as Kobe, but he's just as talented.

And, Eddie over Rashard as fast as DoD can say "I need a table dance."
