Why? I don't get it. Just so they don't have to pay all of his salary? It was just through the end of the season. And I thought he forfeited his pay with the suspension anyway. We've got a roster spot with Ben Davis waived. Heck, Eddie didn't count while he was suspended anyway. Maybe they couldn't keep him on suspension forever. Or they figured they couldn't get anything for him and he wasn't part of their future so why keep him any longer. Shouldn't be surprised, but I'm still sad. Good luck, Eddie. I am dissapointed that it came down to this. Lets put it this way, I have bout one of his replica jerseys 2 seasons ago, albeit at Marshall's for $10, but I really thought he was going to be big. My coworker and I were 2 of his biggest supporters and now this. I really do think he can still hit it big time, everybody needs second chances, and I believe he will shine with one.
