    I've decided to stop going to Best Buy and just get my toys for $20 cheaper on eBay. Which brings me to my question, what's the best deal you've gotten? or got scammed on?

    $750 for a Fender Twin. Not a great deal, but better than the $1000+ I'd spend at Guitar Center.

    seems like you and I are the only two guitar players on this bbs..

    Anyways, best deal I've ever gotten was a Peavey Tripple XXX amp head for $650+ shipping. Way better than the $900 retail price. It was used of course, but peavey amps last a lifetime. So much gain that it can make the dual rectifiers that Metallica uses seem like little girls singing in a church choir.

    I have bought some X-Men comics off there including a #1 issue (worth 10 grand in mint condition, but of course mine is not in mint) but the best deal was buying a #94 issue for $250. Mint condition for this issue runs around $1,000 and this copy that I bought was easily a $500 to $700 range.

    My best ebay deal was a 1983 Fender American Standard Telecaster for $525. I put $140 into it when I got it for a new bone nut, fret dressing, setup, etc., and it has played like buttah ever since.

    yeah it works great! it just has a few scracthes, with shipping it was like 31 dollars.

    i also bought a epiphone guitar for like $100

    u just gatta be patient with ebay, if u are u can always get a good deal :)

    I used to buy them on ebay, watch it and sell them back, ususall I can sell them at the same or higher the price I bought. I once bought a DVD for like 5 bucks and sold for $30 :D
