There's just not a lot that can be said about this except it lives up to the "Ghost In A Jar" hype! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19270&item=5535890757&rd=1
so the bid is almost at $1,000,000,000. i know people are just bidding for fun and no one is actually going to pay, but doesn't eBay take a certain percentage of each sale from the seller...something like 0.01% of the final selling price? so won't the seller still get charged $100,000 even though the winning bidder obviously isn't going to pay?
By the way, Virgin Mary is not the only person appearing on grilled cheese... Here is Elvis on a piece of toast: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20158&item=3762762960&rd=1 Virgin Mary on a piece of steak: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2312&item=6341253901&rd=1 Virgin Mary trapped in a Matzos box: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1469&item=5536190226&rd=1 Virgin Larry (not Mary) on toilet paper: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1469&item=5536190226&rd=1 Finally, we have a piece of gum chewed by Virgin Mary herself (I just loved the description!): You are bidding on chewed piece of gum I recieved from a woman named Mary that told me she was a virgin. It was left on my night stand after a wonderful night that I considered a miracle. This piece of gum is in excellent shape and has not been chewed since the virgin Mary herself had it in her mouth. The winning bidder of this auction will receive the actual piece of gum. Unfortunately we did not have grilled cheese on that night, so you will only receive the gum. I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you might have. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19270&item=5536128563&rd=1
